Our region contains six primary towns and cities (totaling approximately 170,000 inhabitants) located along the Jiu River basin and adjacent to Retezat National Park and other places of interest in Transylvania and the Transylvanian Alps/Carpathian.

In order to help you easily find the information you need, each city site uses a similar web-navigation design format focused on assisting visitors, prospective businesses, and residents. The content of each site is unique to its individual city/town.

Each community has a web team coordinated by a mayor's representative and responsible for content selection, presentation and site maintenance. These representatives will serve as your online guides to their cities, so please feel free to contact them with any questions, comments or suggestions.
